Project Manager
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and communicating project needs with clients and the design team. Preferred skills include an architectural/design background with a proficiency in the Revit building modeling information (BIM) platform. Good communication, management, and innovative problem-solving skills are also desired.
Gilbert Architects is seeking a project manager to join our Lancaster, PA team.
This full-time role is ideal for a candidate with 5–10 years of experience in educational or commercial architectural design and offers potential hybrid work options.
DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and communicate project needs with clients and the design team
- Lead projects through all phases of design and documentation
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders
- Oversee schedules, budgets, and project deliverables
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure project success
- Apply innovative problem-solving skills to complex design and construction challenges
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture (preferred)
- 5–10 years of experience in educational or commercial architectural design (preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows
- Well-rounded experience in design documentation, building codes, specifications, and construction administration
- Understanding of sustainable design strategies (LEED)
- Knowledge of building and zoning codes, general conditions, and construction contracts
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Professional registration is a plus
