The Interview
Q: What’s your job title, and what do you do day to day?
A: Project manager. Day-to-day, I manage projects from early design through construction. I coordinate with consultants, the client, and our internal team to keep everything on track and make sure the design intent is maintained throughout the process.
I also spend a good amount of time producing drawings, developing specifications, and compiling approval submissions. During construction, I’m actively involved in resolving issues as they arise and helping guide the project to completion.
No two days are ever the same, which keeps things interesting.
Q: What’s your favorite part about your job and our company culture?
A: Definitely the people. I truly feel like we’re a family here.
Everyone takes pride in doing their job to the highest level, and you can always count on your teammates to deliver and support one another. If you ever have a question or need help with a specific part of a project, people are always willing to pause what they’re doing and lend a hand.
I really enjoy the mix of joking around and having fun while also collaborating on meaningful work and putting out great projects. It’s a culture that makes coming to work something I look forward to—I honestly can’t imagine working anywhere else.
Q: What’s your favorite project or achievement and why?
A: My favorite project is actually the most recent one—West Bradford Elementary School.
I had the opportunity to be involved in several aspects of the design, including the exterior look, the materials, and the overall floor plans. I also worked on the drawing documentation from beginning to end, consultant coordination, and then got to follow through by collaborating with the construction administrator to address issues as they came up during construction.
It’s been really fulfilling to see the project come together from concept to reality, and I’m excited to see the final product when it’s fully complete.
Q: What does an ideal weekend look like for you?
A: My ideal weekend starts on Friday night—either checking out a local high school football game or going to see a live band.
Saturdays are usually spent with my wife, trying out a new restaurant or brewery.
Then Sunday is all about football. I’ll spend the whole day watching games, relaxing, and enjoying some downtime before the new week starts.
Q: What’s the best trip you’ve ever been on and why?
A: One of the best trips I’ve been on was a vacation to Aruba with my family.
The weather was perfect, and the water was crystal clear and warm—ideal for relaxing on the beach and just unwinding.
One of the highlights was this little food truck called Pofferdorie right across from our hotel. They served Dutch-style mini pancakes with all kinds of topping combinations. My daughter and I made a tradition of going there every night for dessert—it became one of our favorite parts of the trip.
Another unforgettable experience was taking a UTV tour around the island. Driving over the sand, climbing up rocks, and speeding down the road to keep up with the guide was a total thrill. We got to see so many parts of the island that we wouldn’t have otherwise, and while my wife and daughter were a little nervous during the wild parts of the ride, I was loving it—and I promise, I was in control the whole time!
Q: What’s your favorite food?
A: This is a tough one because I like so many different foods, but if I had to choose, I’d say my favorite is pizza—and strombolis are a close second.
