West Bradford Elementary School

GROWTH WITHOUT DISRUPTION

West Bradford Elementary needed additional space, but the district also saw an opportunity to improve how the building functioned day to day.

The goal was not only to add classrooms, but to strengthen instructional support areas and update aging interiors.

Careful planning and phased construction allowed students and staff to remain in classes as work progressed. Improvements were implemented in stages that supported uninterrupted instruction while addressing both immediate needs and the long-term use of the building.

SPACES THAT WORK BETTER EVERY DAY

The project expands capacity while providing a wider range of instructional environments.

Nine new classrooms support enrollment growth, while new spaces for a media center, art instruction, and small group learning give teachers more flexibility in how instruction is delivered. These additions support collaboration, creativity, and focused learning within the school.

Interior finish renovations throughout much of the existing building improve consistency across learning spaces, creating an environment that feels updated and cohesive without unnecessary expansion.

STRENGTHENING SAFETY + OVERSIGHT

The administrative suite and main entrance were renovated together to improve safety, visibility, and day-to-day oversight.

A secure entrance vestibule creates a controlled point of entry, while the expanded and reconfigured administrative suite improves supervision and staff workflow. Organizing these functions together strengthens security and supports clearer, more effective monitoring of daily activity throughout the school.

SUPPORTING INSTRUCTION BEHIND THE SCENES

Behind the scenes, the project includes targeted upgrades that improve reliability and long-term performance.

An expanded kitchen supports daily food service operations, while a new mechanical room accommodates updated building systems. Building-wide improvements include a full systemic renovation and LED lighting throughout, improving efficiency and supporting long-term use of the facility.
