Campus-wide expansion + athletic upgrades
As part of a district-wide plan to handle growing enrollment, East High School underwent major additions and site reconfigurations.
The expansion delivered a new two-story academic wing, a dedicated technology education and science lab addition, and expanded support spaces for the auditorium.
Outside, the campus added a new single-story athletics wing housing a competition gym, auxiliary gym, locker rooms, wrestling room, and fitness center, alongside a new all-weather track and synthetic turf stadium field.
Modernizing core student spaces
Interior renovations refreshed all floor, wall, and ceiling finishes while reconfiguring key operational hubs. Crews transformed the former gymnasium footprint into a modern, centralized media center and fully upgraded the administrative, guidance, and health suites.
To streamline daily dining, two separate cafeteria spaces were combined into a unified dining common featuring a modern food court layout and an upgraded commercial kitchen.
Simplified circulation + site infrastructure
To eliminate bottlenecks, the redesign connected key corridors and installed a central elevator and stair core to provide access across all floor levels.
Mechanical upgrades introduced new HVAC systems with quiet, vertical noise-reducing units in classroom areas, while full building infrastructure updates delivered a fiber-optic network backbone, campus-wide wireless coverage, VoIP phone integration, and a complete fire sprinkler retrofitting.
