Ringing Rocks Elementary School
Facility upgrades + full-day kindergarten
Originally built in 1961 with additions in 1966 and 1989, Ringing Rocks Elementary School underwent comprehensive renovations and new construction to establish equity across district facilities and accommodate full-day kindergarten.
Infrastructure improvements overhauled the existing structure with energy-efficient mechanical systems, new lighting, full window and roof replacements, and a building-wide fire sprinkler system designed to lower long-term operating costs.
Perimeter security + administrative expansion
To elevate campus safety, a new secure entrance vestibule routes all visitors directly through the main administrative office before granting building access.
A small addition at the main entry expanded the footprint for administrative offices, guidance suites, and the nurse’s clinic. On the service side, the project added a dedicated loading dock to handle daily deliveries directly at the new kitchen and cafeteria.
Academic additions + spatial reorganization
Three distinct additions expanded the footprint, creating classrooms to support four sections per grade level alongside a new kitchen, cafeteria, and performance platform.
Moving the cafeteria freed up legacy square footage to build a modern library and computer lab, while the former library was converted into a creative arts suite featuring an art studio, kiln room, storage, and private music practice rooms.
Site work separated parent drop-off loops from bus zones, expanded parking, improved emergency access, and brought the entire campus into ADA compliance.
